A scent specifically formulated for the days when choosing between smelling like a sweetshop and smelling like a headshop is simply impossible. Holly has this problem a lot. Sugared, cakey, amber-licious and incensey.

Normally I like foody, cake-y, incense smells, but this one just overwhelms me. On my skin, I get amber, incense, sticky vanilla, sugary, possibly patchouli, and possibly jasmine... but the type of strong sweet jasmine that gives me a headache. And the sweetness is just too much for me.
I am NOT a candied head! :(

As a lover of herby, heady scents, i decided to order Candied Head for something a little different.
In bottle: Very sweet smelling and cakey, with prominent amber
On skin: I was pleasantly surprised this wasn't too sweet on my skin; it's sweet but not gross sweet like some candy scents are, and the amber definitely shines when on wet. As it begins to dry, the cakey/vanilla-y nature comes out more, but i wont give it 5 stars because it began to go borderline baby powder on me as it dried. Was a bit too sweet for me on the dry down.

Most traditional perfumes give me headaches so I'm a scented oil girl. A very picky scented oil girl. I generally never order the same scent twice but this smell...... This smell has become me. It's the smell people recognize as mine. It's been my smell for a quit a few years now and the only smell I have ever commit to like this. If ZOMG ever closes shop I'm screwed because I never have and probably never will love a body smell as much as I do candied head.

this scent is... hard to decribe. it smells great and i love it. the scent compliments um. other 'related' scents ;) in the bottle it smells like a soft candy, not the type to overwhelm you with intense flavor, more like one you would want to nibble for a long time. i want to have this in one of those reed infusers.
on my skin its a bit more amber but still sweet.sweet without making me hungry

(I figured that '60s song would be the perfect musical accompaniment to this.) It IS sweet & incense-y though, as promised! Finally I've found an incense scent that doesn't immediately go "STONER" on me. I always love amber and anything, so to put it together with sweet cakey things...yay!

I love this one so very much!!! I get the sugary goodies, and also the amber and incensey vibe. It's balanced and beautiful. With my particular skin chemistry, THIS. ROCKS. SRSLY. I said it in the old forum: I AM a Candied Head. Heh.

It's like everything I would expect an beautiful she-male to smell like...
I smell the amber and a lot of cakeyness when it's wet. Dry it's like amber and sweet vanilla with a hint of spice. Someone mentioned Patchouli, but if it's there it's very light as I tend to dislike patchouli but I like this. It's very heady and sweet. The potential double entente of the name is also very fitting as it's a rather hot and sexy scent.

I LOVE THIS SO FREAKIN' MUCH!!!
I get a sticky, ambery, vanilla-y, sweet, patchouli-ish, sugary hit of NOM NOM NOM on my skin. Lasts like this for several hours, then backs down to a calmer, more ambery, and less sweet skin-hugging scent. I am in dire need of a full bottle of Candied Head. I AM a Candied Head.

Doing this in the same format that I do my other perfume reviews!
In Bottle: Sugary-sweet incense.
Wet on Skin: Smells like cake! I can kinda smell the amber, as well.
Drydown (3 minutes): The amber is really coming out now. Now it's mostly amber, with a sweet background.
Drydown (5 minutes): Sweet amber with a hint of incense.
Overall Impression: For all those sugar-loving hippies. This is pretty much a balance between my two main perfume categories, haha. I do like it, though I'm not sure if I like it enough for a full bottle.

I still love this one best, I think. It's sort of sweet and incense-y and lasts forever. <3
