The unholy union of Captain of Industry and Seagull Eating a Starfish.
We had a lot of fun with this--whereas Captain is a luxury high-rise scent, Seagull is more of a beachy thing, so naturally the way to go in order to combine them harmoniously was a luxury high-rise beach. We think we nailed it. Tart lemon, iced tea well-spiked with top-shelf booze, sea breezes, salty driftwood and ginger candy melting in the sun. Deluxe.

Enjoying this scent is MUCH easier than swallowing a seagull beak-first, though I imagine the seagull-swallowing makes a better party trick.
In the bottle this was surprisingly sweet, almost like ginger flowers. On my skin the flowery note buggered off in a hurry -- wet, I got mostly fresh ginger, yum. As it dries the ginger releases its stranglehold a bit and there's a brisk brightness to it that I think must be the sea breezes and driftwood playing nicely with the booze. Pleasantly unisex, refreshing and energetic -- very much a blue-skies-above sort of feel.
