Deified is the winner of the head-to-head Fancy Fruity Flan Fight: two scents separated by a single ingredient. Ariel and Holly loved them both but just could not decide, so we offered both for a month and asked for a vote! It was a drawn-out battle with custard and fruit coulis splattering all over the walls at headquarters, but finally a victor emerged.
And this is that victor. A proud flan, it stands alone and knee-deep in the creamy remains of its foe Racecar.
A delicious, fruity, foody, very desserty scent, replete with sticky-sweetness, spicy citrus notes, nutmeg and vanilla, a hint of wood, and amber.

For me, it starts off as sweet, but then has a kind of pine smell. (Not a "cleaner" pine, but a nice forest-y type.) I guess on my skin, to my nose, the "hint of wood" is more than just a "hint".
I like it, though nothing can compare to "Lola's New Dress" for me! :D

I am so glad that Deified won the fight. I voted--rather obnoxiously I might add--for this bad boy, and it's really lovely. I liked both flans, but this guy just had more depth and character on my skin. YAY and YUM!!! So, I get a delicious fruity flan with all that implies, and resins. The resiny part cinched it for me. Oh, and it feels like the Lola family to me, too. I loves me some Lola! <3
P.S. Sorry for not reviewing sooner. Sometimes I am a geek. That is all.

I got a random squee of this in my order, and, well, it's pretty much just as advertised. It's very sweet. I tore into this and my first thought was, "Sugar cookies!"
First impressions are of sugar, vanilla and citrus, with the citrus taking a clear lead. I'm getting mostly grapefruit and sweet orange here. After a while, the citruses fade, leaving more a creamy, wood / vanilla aroma that lasts.
It's a sweeter scent than I'd usually wear as a man, but I'd consider it for those occasions when I want to feel mellow and relaxing. This is not a powerful, getting-things-done smell. More of a dreamy, floaty smell that hangs in the back.
