The up and down quarks are the most stable of all the quark pairs: the others undergo particle decay and end up as one or the other. Were one inclined to indulge a metaphorical fancy, one might note that Up and Down could be interpreted as the afterlives of the other quarks, which gives Down in particular a rather nifty bit of villainy.
Quarks in hell: black patchouli, smoked clove, and a leather bullwhip. Fun!

At first I was a little reluctant to wear this one because the black patchouli seemed way too strong when I smelled it in the bottle. On my skin it was completely different, with the leather taking center stage and the clove singing backup. As the day wore on it interacted with my skin chemistry and I wound up smelling like candied leather which doesn't even seem like it should be a possible scent. I adore it and, when my squee runs out, I am getting a whole bottle. It makes me smell a bit like how I imagine a fallen angel might smell. It is a masculine scent, almost aggressively so. It reminds me of a smirk. It is a very strong scent and a lot of people probably will not like wearing it. For me, though, it's devilishly perfect.

I got a sample vial of this one for curiosity, and I actually quite like it, though it's not really my style. The leather was the strongest on me, closely followed by the patchouli. The clove was only strong at the start, but the smokiness stuck around.
This makes me think of black gloves, back rooms, and bad intentions, and if those are the kinds of things you're into, you'll probably enjoy this one! It's also a very masculine scent.

In my book (and everyone has a different book, but some pages are shared) this one just stinks. Welcome to the :PSC: the Purely Stinky Club-- join Doc Holiday and your relative, the Up Quark and other mixed scraps on the cutting room floor.
