Full of the best things of both worlds! This is the scent of a celestial compost heap, and be assured that's a good thing. At least it is to us, and presumably to the wee compost worms that lived diligent lives and went to their just reward. :)
Heavenly frankincense and rich dark chocolate all mulched together with wet earth, a touch of patchouli, and the sweetest, gentlest clove in the world.

In the bottle this scent smelled almost overwhelmingly of chocolate. It made me think of a super high class chocolate fountain, one that's made of specially engraved marble or something.
When I put it on I got a few minutes of being totally surrounded by the wafting scent of super expensive dark chocolate. After about five minutes the notes of clove began making their way to the surface, followed by the patchouli and the frankincense.
I absolutely love this scent, it smells like sipping strong hot chocolate in a wet garden.

Background: I love the smell of wet earth, frankincense, cloves, and even patchouli on occasion. I'm not a huge fan of food-like scents, but the fine people at ZOMG have previously managed to sneak in other scents I "don't like" into perfume melanges I absolutely love, so I figured maybe they could do the same with the chocolate notes.
In the bottle: the chocolate is quite noticeable, but is balanced out by the sharper notes of the earth, patchouli and clove. Didn't pick up much frankincense. Maybe not my favorite scent, but I could see myself wearing it to, say, a pagan meditation-and-dessert party. (That's a thing, right?)
On me: all chocolate, all the time. :( After the drydown I could barely smell anything other than the chocolate, and after about 10 minutes I felt like I had been buried in a compost heap composed entirely of discarded chocolate bars. After about 8 hours it faded to a light, spicy patchouli, but the chocolate doom phase was too intense and long-lasting to make it worth it. Bummer.

In the bottle, I was majorly intimidated by this smell. It was like bitter compost/soil. But I thought "hey, this is ZOMG, they know what they're doing", so I put it on anyway. I'm glad I did! The clove is FANTASTIC, rich and spicy. There is also a faint baby powder scent that mixes well with the spice. I also sense I slight hint of chocolate, but it is super subtle, WHICH IS AWESOME!

Earth and Heaven is a sensual, rich scent...warm and earthy but still sophisticated. It has become my favorite, especially in the winter. The clove, chocolate, and earth tones are lush, and the patchouli, which I normally can't wear, blends in perfectly. I first got this as a squee, but had to have it in the full size.

Got this as a freebie in a squee set-- funny thing is, this was one of the scents I'd been debating on ordering as one of my ten squees, but had to eliminate, so when I saw it, my first thought was "how did they know?!" The first time I wore it, it wound up smelling pretty much entirely like dirt. I've worn it a couple more times since then, though, and some sweeter, more subtle notes have come through on the drydown; maybe something funky was going on with my skin that first day, who knows. Someone who's more familiar with the specifics of scents would probably be able to pick out the different notes better than I am, but overall I'd say it's very rich and dark and brown. Definitely brown. But in a good way! Like mulch with incense and dark chocolate mixed in. Not right for everyone, probably, but I can dig it.

I got this smell as a freebie, so it's not something I would have necessarily tried otherwise. It smells more or less like what you would get from sticking your nose in a handful of wet soil from right after it's rained. There's a bit of an impression of sawdust or mulch in there as well. Those are smells I like, but not really what I wanted *myself* to smell like. It was just a bit too earthy and powerful for me. If a really strong and convincing wet earth smell is what your after, though, it certainly fits the bill nicely. It's nice just to open up and sniff sometimes, even if it's not something I would really wear.
