What it says on the tin! A full set of Gabriel's City character scents. Choose bottles or squees (1 ml glass vials)!
ANNA: Honeycakes, fine rose-petal tea steeped just long enough and no more, and a dab of neroli, vanilla, and the most expensive sandalwood; there is no scarcity here of anything but the freedom to adventure. Colin's sister Anna is genuinely sweet, loves her brother, loves stories, and although she too longs for adventure, she's much more practical-minded than he is. She'd make a far better estate manager after their parents are gone than he would.
CAPTAIN WESTFALL: Bitter vetiver, cypress essential oil, a worn leather scabbard, the scent of woodsmoke mingled with the docks he came from, the sweet amber of the wealthy he now mingles with, and the Lady's oakmoss and gravedust. Captain Westfall may have made it to a different station in life, but he is every bit as much a killer as Gabriel: the other side of the coin, order to Gabriel's chaos.
COLIN: Colin's scent is that of a wastrel playboy with his parents' money and no cares in the world: he's used to fine things, easy pleasure and the high life. Refined French lavender, sharp amber, ambergris, Atlas and Virginia cedarwoods, and an expensively sweet herbal cologne with cardamom, frankincense, nutmeg, bay, and clean, bright sandalwood. You can't afford to eat these spices, peons? Ha! I rub them on my face!
DEIRDRE: Deirdre is a former slave, Gabriel's friend, and an herbwoman,. She's had a hard life after being stolen from her Northern home, and though many would find nothing sweet or welcoming about her, she has a softer side beneath all the wariness and prickle. Gabriel is not the only orphan that comes to her for care, and she looks after them as best she can.
Bitter black tea, dried herbs and dusty herbal flowers, a fresh poultice with lavender, and the resinous evergreens of the North.
DRAKE: Drake is the scruffier, more real version of Colin. The refined blend of imported lavender oil has been replaced by fresh crushed buds, he's down to just the sharper of the two cedarwoods, the memory of nutmeg, and a less poncy sandalwood that warms the skin and rubs up against the new things in his life: grave-dirt, freshly-broken twigs underfoot, earthy patchouli-- and of course, dragon's blood.
GABRIEL: Gabriel is a street rat and a murderer for hire. The Green Lady found him in a graveyard, he says, and gave him a gift of her favor-- so it's small wonder that he grew up to kill for a living, The background of his scent is of the grave: frankincense and myrrh, cedar planks, freshly turned earth and patchouli, the warm skin-scent of sandalwood that he shares with Drake, and the Lady's sharp green galbanum and bitter gravedust.
THE GREEN LADY: The Green Lady is a goddess of dead things; she wears a tattered shroud, her hair is tangled with dead leaves and oakmoss, ivy clings to her, her skin is deathly pale and she has no eyes... eyes are one of the first things to go. She's also Gabriel's patron lady.
Sharp green galbanum, fresh wild lavender, cedar coffinwood, vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood for a last touch of the living on their lost ones, and grave-dirt.
