The Green Knight came to King Arthur's court on New Year's Eve, but you can keep him as close as an enchanted girdle all year round. Full of bright and dark greens, this is a strong absinthe scent that would do well on any gender.
Bergamot, green tea, cardamom pods, three kisses of Sir Bertilak's anise-sweetened breath, a flower-soft kiss from his wife, and deep green herbs.

Out of the bottle, freshly-crushed cardamom pods and mint. A dash of Jaegermeister, with a hint of an anise star. Over time, the anise pulls through. Then it becomes general spice. I will keep the squee to think of Christmas.

I really enjoy this scent--very fresh and herbal, like walking into an apothecary shop. Lovely notes of basil, pine, and other greenery, without any flowery notes to disguise them. Unfortunately, my Green Knight apparently doesn't want to stick around--in less than a couple hours it was mostly gone, and I had to stick my nose right up against my skin to catch the faintest bit of leftover scent. :( Which is a shame, because otherwise I would have easily given this four or five stars ...

I bought this scent as part of four squees to experiment with, and of the seven I've ever tried, this is my absolute favorite. Knowing what Bergamont is, I'd expected a sort of flowery-spicy earl grey smell.
What happened instead was a lovely marriage of Orange and Spice tied all around with girdle of soft, almost cake-flower-gentle undertone. It is utterly delicious, and entirely delectable, softening out over time into something I don't have a word for...but sweetly. It's taken my head clean off and seduced me.
If it behaves on other people the way it does on me (possibly not, since more mutable scents like Four Seasons in Mighty Contention tend to go a bit soft and flowery on me, likewise) it's probably a "girl scent" full of softness and anise-clove kisses, mixed with clever banter.
O Green Knight, you will be a token banner raised high on my lance...
Or would be if I were a knight. As it is, I'll probably have to put a few drops of you in my car and pretend to joust a little under the influence of your sweet fumes.
Except...probably not. Because that would be totally dangerous.
But in spirit, my banner is raised that all might know of my totally courtly love for this smell.
