Product Description

The scent:

Art of Hapshetsut's early reign shows her in traditional female garb and with a female shape, but wearing the pharaonic crown and beard and in a typically male stance. Later artists, either uncomfortable with the ambiguity or because the Great Builder herself told them to, simply depicted her as male. All hail the Queen!

A stately, classic, androgynous chypre. Two sandalwoods and embalming resins touched with lemongrass and myrrhine rose.

The soap:

Rich shimmering gold in a honey base. We've noticed that the rose note is less prominent in the soap; we were going to change it until we remembered that some people thought the rose note in the scent was too strong for their tastes. SOME PEOPLE, this one's for you. :) And for people who love sandalwood.

(Soap Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Honey, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate (emulsifier), soy bean protein (conditioner), shimmer, fragrance blend.)
