In 2006, Pluto was demoted from its status as a planet to a dwarf planet, or “plutoid”. No longer the sentinel king of the outer solar system, Pluto is now just one among 70,000 known bodies orbiting in the Kuiper Belt beyond the orbit of Neptune. A BIT OF A LETDOWN, YES?
True kings can't be taken down that easily. Slowly, carefully, Pluto marshals its chief lieutenants: plutoids Eris, Makemake, and Haumea. Slowly, orbits shift. The king knows how to deal with coddled inner planets that trifle with matters beyond their ken.
A dark, heady scent that spells doom a-comin': black pepper, black amber, bitter black grapeskin, and vetiver. Just a fleck of star anise.

Like a vengeful dwarf planet, this smell likes to lurk in the shadows, giving just enough of a hint of its precense to make the IAU staff look nervousy over their shoulders.
Is that whiff of pepper coming from a spice factory, or is it the aroma of someone bitter over the loss of their planet status?
You won't know until it's too late...

If I were forced to choose, this would be my favorite ZOMG scent. I live in Wisconsin, and in the middle of winter it takes over an hour for the sun to set. The sky goes from pink and orange and deep purple to this glowing, indigo blue before fading to black. If you've never seen that blue that's so blue it's almost black, you can't really imagine it. This is the scent of that color.

Pepper and mulled wine. Deep, a bit mysterious and romantic. I could see an actress wearing this in preparation for playing the role of a femme fatale.

I got this as in extra in my squee party. When smelled it in the bottle I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I'm so glad i tried it on anyway! It's a very dark sexy unisex scent. It isn't my style at all, but I couldn't deny that it's a ridiculously attractive scent. So I made my boyfriend wear it. He's not a of scented products, but he is a fan of my reaction to this fragrance.

Before it dries, you get the anise and amber very strong, and the anise is very notable for about the first hour. After the anise fades, it's dark and soft, like being wrapped in black velvet. Very potent, so you only need a dab of this one.

I really like this! It's sort of weird, all that blackness reminded me a little of cinnamon cake, but less sweet. It's definitely a lighter scent, for people who like to subtly warn of doom. It lasted about 5 hours (in 103 degree weather), so I'd say it has a decent life-span, too.
