In Sorrento, Italy, the lemons grow so huge that they randomly explode and drench the passersby in the most amazingly intense, rich candied lemon scent found anywhere in the world.
Actually, they don't. But they do get huge, and it really seems like they should occasionally explode with amazing flavor when you look at them, and thus the mighty LEMONBOMB was born! Sweet like candy and intense like grapefruit-sized lemons growing in a sun-warmed field of lemon balm, with a depth that speaks of ancient, Old World fruit trees.
Amber, LEMON CANDY, SOUR LEMON, MORE LEMONS, and a hint of primal, woody sourness that throws sugar into such sharp and pleasing relief.

Okay, based on the name and description, I was expecting something more than your grandpa's combustible lemon: a lemon damn ICBM that burns down Life's house, garden, home town, and her little dog, too!
This is not that scent. (I'm docking you one star for that!)
It does, however, have a nice, energetic citrus aroma, layered on top of a sweet baseline. Reminds me of eating a grapefruit, sliced in half and sprinkled with sugar, straight out of the shell with a teaspoon. It's a nice memory.
My cats will probably hate this; felines are not known for being partial to sour or acidic smells.

I hesitated to order this because I am always looking for a bright fresh cut lemon smell and I am always disappointing by scents that have a harsh bitter undertone. But this one sounded so sweet and yummy, I had to give it a chance.
Big mistake. Huge. The "primal, woody sourness" was more like lemon furniture polish spray mixed with old lady perfume. Really turned my stomach, I had to wash it off after 30 minutes.

I was a bit worried when I ordered this that it would be harsh with all the sourness, but I underestimated the amber! This is a delicious burst of sour lemons and wood that is mellowed by the creamiest of ambers and a nice hit of lemony sugar. So good!
This is my absolute favourite from the site, and it reminds me so much of the first perfume I ever bought (Lemon-Vanilla by F&P), which was discontinued years and years ago.
