  1. "what did you bake?" 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Aug 2015

this has been my go-to fragrance for daily wear for a few years now, and to this day people STILL ask me if I've been baking whenever they get close to me! I've always been a fan of vanilla based scents but this just knocks it out of the park for me and lasts for hours, fading into a sort of cinnamon-vanilla chai as it dries.
the only downside is the disappointment on everyone's faces when they realize I did not spend the morning baking them snickerdoodles, but just smell like this all the time!

  2. Spice cake with frosting 2 Star Review

On first application, spice cake with a little too much sugar frosting. The sugary notes faded in time, but I'm not sure if I want to continue smelling like spice cake. Not for me!

  3. Very lovely! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Aug 2013

What a delicious scent! Very nice and spicy. I love it on myself and I would love it on a man as well! Not too sweet but certainly not bitter either. I don't know what frankincense smells like but there's a little something extra in there that I think might be it. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I've got Lola's New Dress on the other wrist and I like it even better and they're very similar, but Lola is a slightly more masculine and less sweet smell and I would certainly recommend it very highly. Great in the bottle and on my skin.

  4. Delicious 5 Star Review

First scent that I decided to try- not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't Lola. Fantastic and sweet, and pleasantly spicier than I was anticipating. The full-sized bottle is definitely on my wishlist.

  5. Mad Science, meet Sex & the City 5 Star Review

I have never found a perfume with Frankincense that smelled nice. Usually it was paired with Myrrh and Patchouli, and it was migraine-inducing. I also haven't found a perfume with spices that wasn't also a migraine starter. This takes both and has the world's best spa day for the price of a bottle of bubble bath.

In the bottle, it smells like incense and cider spices. On me it starts off with a solo of Frankincense (because it deserves to have the spotlight once in a while), then sort of sneaks off to let this sexy earthy spicy smell own the runway in a lab coat.
Oh, it will also own your other half (mine says you are not allowed to ever quit making this one).

  6. Addicting 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Aug 2012

The first time I tried this one, I wasn't in the right mood for it. I found it to be way too sweet, and I think I ended up washing it off after a bit. I gave it a second try later on, when I was in a better mood. Instant addiction! Since then, I've been getting random cravings for Lola, and I end up having to wash off whatever nice, earthy scent I'm wearing so I can put this one on and smell it right away.... Amazing scent! Sweet vanilla chai with frankincense was spot-on for what I smell from this as well.

  7. Sweet Vanilla Chai 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Apr 2012

In the bottle, this smells like a big jumble of indecipherable spices, but on my skin it's amazing. I get a bit of nose-stabbingness from the frankincense at first, but it quickly fades into sweet vanilla chai with the frankincense as a supporting player underneath. The kind of smell that just keeps getting better and better everytime you sniff it. Will definitely have to get a big bottle of this
