Because a nize hat deserves a nize scent, ja. Remember, however, that "nice" compares to "nize" the way a pleasant day by the sea compares to conquering that sea at the head of a flotilla of mighty clockwork sharks. We do not use "nize" lightly, oh no. This is a nize scent.
Ambergris, coconut meat, white cedar pitch, and olibanum.

In the squee, it smells like a raging sample fight at a department store perfume counter.
On me, it mellows to the lingering scent of a sample fight in the bath'n'body section of the mall.
It is the ultimate essence of a classic perfume!
And, it lasted all night!
(If you love that sort of thing.)
(Unfortunately, department-store perfume gives me a migraine. And, apparently, raging allergies. Since I'm okay with everything else, this means I'm allergic to ambergris-based perfumes. So good to finally know! I am allergic to elephants AND whales. I'm sensing a trend... may have to rethink the dinosaur-based scents... Aaawwww!)

Ooooh, my nize hat.
In the bottle: Mmm. Lighter than I expected. But not weak. It's... brisk? Yes, definitely brisk. Can't smell the coconut, having a hard time picking out any individual components, actually, but... mmm.
Wet on skin: Smells just as it did in the vial. A little dusty, a little sharp, vaguely nautical, and a whole lot of getting things done in an enthusiastic, vigorous fashion. This scent wants to make my day look effortless. I think I may start work on those clockwork sharks now. Or perhaps an army of giant mechanical land squid?
Dry: mellows and sweetens a little, but still dusty and still exuberant. I was expecting coconut at some point, but despite its continued absence I like this overall.

I HAZ A NIZE HAT!!!!! I adore this scent. I know "adore" is a delicate term to use in context of the Jaeger. How about: I LUFF DA SHEET OUTTA DIS SCENT!!! Yeah. That's right. It's a gentle, somewhat sweet coconut, with the ambergris and resins adding a sophistication and gravity to the scent. Wait. This is Jaeger stuff. ESS GOOOOOD SMELL!!! COCONUTS ENT GOOEY SHTUFF--HO YEEEEEZZZ!!! Oh, but this is great stuff! Thanks, Ladies!
ETA: I spelled Jager wrong! Can you tell what I drink?
