A sensory impression of one of the finest bits of comedy nature has ever devised. If you aren't one of the lucky few who have experienced this event first-hand, it's very important that you move to a place where there are starfish and seagulls immediately. Tidelands, driftwood, downy bird musk, and the gingery spike of starfish terror.

Ocean tidepools, driftwood, and flowers. I didn't think a non-citrus scent would smell so refreshing! I'm definitely in for a full bottle.

I got this as a nice bonus when I got my squee of Giant Robot Birthday Party. It was a very pleasant surprise -- I REALLY wanted to like GRBP, but Seagull, like the conniving flying greedy robbers they are, stole the show. The ginger hit became spicy citrus on me at first, then I caught the woody underlayment. Amber? Cedar? Patchouli? It made me think of boxes of exotic spices, swung out onto a creosoted dock. I tend not to put on too much perfume at first, because I'm not sure how I will like it, and DH has been known to say "What are you wearing?" with a wrinkled nose. Nonetheless, this faded to a bare wisp of wood and ginger within an hour. It does seem to blend well with the watch band residue of my usual favorite, Le Labo 24.

i agree that this scent is mouth-watering in a way the candy perfumes just can't be. it's bright and clean and juicy without having nearly any fruit at all. that was one succulent starfish. if i could make everything i owned smell like this (and with the arrival of soaps my goal is that much closer), i would. i look forward to room sprays, rearview mirror hangers, mothballs, candles, drawer liners, edible pastilles, scented pencil erasers, etc, etc.
try blending with Vory v Zakony for a big sexy bottom (...).

I think my skin amped that gingery spike of starfish terror just enough to push the smell from fresh into feminine. This scent is warm and delicious in a far more appealing way than any of the food scents I've tried. It's sweet without being cloying, and unobtrusive but strong enough to last the entire day.
Just wonderful, ladies! You really nailed this one.

My boyfriend loved this one, but I wasn't so sure. It definitely smells good, but it was a bit soapy in my opinion. It certainly comes through as refreshing and clean, and you get that ocean breeze feel. I would wear this when I get tired of smelling sweet and fruity, this is one for people who want something different from the normal pattern of sweet and heavy feminine scents.

This is one of the most natural and clean things I have ever smelled. It's cool, comfortable, pleasant, not over-powering, and I haven't quite found anything like it elsewhere.
I wasn't entirely sure about getting it when I ordered it as part of the Squee Party, but it has become one of my daily go-to scents.
