Rich, complex, and powerfully masculine, the Baron is a scent to wear when conquering towns and administrating with a practical-minded, questionably benevolent hand. Bergamot, lavender, and amber mellowed by spiced rum, bay leaf, and cedarwood.

The mixture of peppy spiciness, crisp citrus and manly muskiness invokes an aura of cozy familiarity, but also of unquestionable authority and sexy, sexy power.
The image I'm getting from this is that of the father and/or ruler you do not want to disappoint, not only because you love him, but also because he would probably jam some kind of mind control device in your skull if you did.

This is my absolute favorite scent at the moment--I use it whenever I need an extra dash of confidence and assertiveness. You could call it masculine, I call it 'in charge'--lovely cedar-smelling, spicy scent that doesn't overpower, but doesn't let you forget it's there, either!

...and it looms heavily. Right out of the bottle, a hint of citrus jumps my receptors like a squadron of hoomhoffers. Clearly bergamot and lavender teaming up for a first round KO.
That fades as soon as the scent is actually applied to the skin. The scent starts powerful, conquering the scent buds with an iron fist, then settles for a mood of satisfied accomplishment, settling back in the study with a good book and a snifter of brandy. That's clearly a well maintained leather and mahogany armchair by scent.
Overall, the feel is one of accomplishment. Europa is down on her knees, and my boot is on her neck. I am in control, and nothing can shake that. I give it a solid 5 out of 5 airship fleets of doom.

This is a wonderful, designer-suit sort of scent: crisp, balanced, authoritative. Masculine in a cleaned-up and precise way, with the citrusy brightness of the bergamot up top and the calm certainty of the lavender at the bottom, keeping all the rest of the notes in line. This is the scent I wear when I need to remind myself that yes, I *should* be in charge, and people *should* be listening to me.

My boyfriend got this for himself as he is obsessed with Girl Genius and it was our favorite of the ones he ordered. Very masculine, all the notes come through in just the right amounts, blending in such a way that none seem in competition to take center stage. My man smelt as you might imagine the old spice man off the commercial would smell even though it smells nothing like Old Spice. The smell of confidence, and seduction. Nice one, ladies!
