Full title: The Triumph of Direct Current Over the Perils of Alternating Current
A mouthful but worth it. We enjoy our time with Tesla, of course, but part of what we enjoy is the fact that the man couldn't catch a break if it were dropped into his hand--which it never was. At every step of his American engineering career, there was Edison! During the great nationwide debate over AC versus DC, there was Edison, insisting that alternating current would kill us all. He was wrong, mostly. But let's pretend a bit.
This is our daydream of a scent suitable for Edison as he grandly celebrates his alternate-universe victory in the War of the Currents. Consider it an ebulliently glad-handy counterpart to Tesla's melancholy scent: this one is hearty and jubilant and confident. Vetiver, spikenard, lemongrass, patchouli leaf, and orange cocktail bitters.

When I first put it on, I picked up on a scent of orange blossom water with patchouli. The orange blossoms fade, then it's just patchouli. Not an unpleasant scent, but I'm not the biggest fan of patchouli. I think I may have dabbed on too much initially, use with caution.
