  1. Childhood Memories 4 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Mar 2016

I'll join the 'too strong out of the bottle' brigade -- I wasn't impressed. I also didn't like it for the first 10 minutes or so on my skin. But then it faded to a sort of baby powder smell, one that I actually enjoyed for once, one paired with a hint of flower and candy (so cupcake -- check!). As it continued to fade, it hit this smell mark that reminded me of strawberry-scented plastic toys of the 80s. I had forgotten how much I liked that smell, and it's delightful to relive it.

  2. Too much sweetness (where are the flowers?) 1 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Aug 2014

Out of the bottle, too powerful: I actually coughed a bit at how strong it was. It reminds me of a cupcake that is much too sweet, the kind with the ghastly type of frosting which is full of sugar and no butter (give me the buttercream!) and artificial flavors. Even after letting it settle on my skin, it still has too much sweetness. And I couldn't smell the flowers.

  3. Sweet Flowers 4 Star Review

On me when wet it smells very sweet. Like just being dipped in something sweet. When dry the sugary sweetness mellows out and more of the floral scent comes out without being too strong.

  4. If only there was a '6 stars' option! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jan 2014

Woooow! I did not anticipate this smell being so amazing! I smell rose, lily of the valley, gardenia, vanilla, cake, cake, and more CAKE! There's also a light musk, which keeps it from being too childish. FANTASTIC! This would be a really nice, day-date smell.

  5. A neroli-vanilla punch in the face 4 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Apr 2013

Although the scent is called "three blossom" cupcake, don't be fooled into thinking you're going to smell all floral with this perfume with a dash of cake underneath. The Neroli is definitely the dominant scent on me, almost liqeur-boozy with a strong vanilla undertone smell that reminds me of the cherry cordial candies my grandmother so loves. It's a delicious smell, but there's none of the gardenia I was really hoping for as a floral fan.

Overall, if you want to smell like cherry cordials all day long, this is a great choice. Just expect that neroli to really be the dominant note.
