Ah, the glamour of old-world Russia and old-world Russian outlaws. Crime is one thing but organized crime is another, and the Vory do it with inescapable style. This is the dark scent of bad men and bad things in back rooms: black Baltic amber, vetiver, the faintest touch of tobacco, and woody char.
(This item is a 5 ml bottle.)

I found this as a squee sample in my last order. Popped it open, slapped it on, and was very pleasantly surprised by what I thought at first would be a sweet, patchouli-ish scent.
It is indeed a little sweet, and dark and heavy with amber and char. It smells Important like a well-tailored suit and shiny black shoes. My final impression was that Smoky Black Chai had a baby with The Chieftain's Wife and raised that baby on cigars and espionage.
Vory is confident, muscular, and in control at all times. It wears well and lasts well. And my husband likes it, too.

this might be a masculine scent, but it's super sexy on a lady. my much-older sister had a bottle of guerlain vetiver when i was a teenager and it was the sexiest, most mysterious thing i had ever smelled. good vetiver is hard to find, it's either too dry or too hidden in citrus. this is hot (try Santa Ana winds) and powerful (in the sense of having armed men standing at your sides) and the notes come through in almost the exact order they're listed.
try blending with my other favourite, Seagull Eating a Starfish, which adds the perfect cool, gingery top notes to round out the fire and smoke. makes it a little more feminine and less aggressive. but there's a time and a place for everything, right? wear this solo during your next corporate takeover.

Quite simply the best Men's cologne I have tried. The essence of everything masculine. I love it. My wife loves it. Others are genuinely intrigued. Brilliant.

I was really hopeful for this one; most of the notes are some of my favorites (vetiver, amber...) but while this is extremely true to its concept in all ways... 90% of all I got out of this was cigar smoke. And unfortunately... I hate the smell of cigar smoke.
There's a bit of leather, maybe, and other stuff, but it's all stomped into the carpet by the hobnailed boots of sharp, pungent tobacco. Unfortunate!

I like this one. Oddly familiar, but still interesting. Not timid, not so sweet and a bit unique. I like it.

This is a very unique scent. Personally, I can't pull it off - it's too strong and I end up with a headache. Nonetheless, I like to smell it in the bottle. If you're looking for a somewhat masculine, heady scent that can last a long time, try this out.
